Project Details
OPD is providing engineering, procurement, and construction services for a new Ethane/Propane Export Terminal on the Texas Gulf Coast. The new facility will have a high processing capacity of Ethane across two individual trains, with the flexibility to utilize the second train to process propane. This greenfield project has extensive new balance of plant systems to support the facility such as demethanizer systems, methane compressors, ethane Boil-Off-Gas (BOG) compressors, BOG refrigeration compressors, dock topsides and large utility systems such as process cooling water, process wastewater, firewater, nitrogen and instrument air.
- High capacity ethane and propane processing
- Complete grassroots site with extensive site work required
- Large motor HP requirements including 50,000 HP propylene refrigeration compressor
- Extensive planning required due to long lead equipment schedules and difficult site conditions.
