Natural Gas Processing & NGL Fractionation Units
An integrated gas processing and liquids handling facility in Wyoming, featuring a 420 MMSCFD CDC/RSV/GSP cryogenic plant and a modular 1.5 MBPD four-tower NGL fractionator with truck and rail loading.
Project Details
OPD provided engineering, design, procurement and construction of a cryogenic natural gas processing, liquids fractionation, and product terminal/storage facility in Wyoming. Lean gas with moderate CO2 content allowed this facility to be designed with Ortloff’s Carbon Dioxide Control (CDC) to be incorporated into the GSP/RSV cryogenic plant – avoiding costly inlet gas amine sweetening. The full project buildout also featured a completely modular 4-tower 1.5 MBPD NGL fractionator w/ rail & truck loading.
- All-in-one cryo, frac, storage, and loading
- 420 MMSCFD CDC/RSV/GSP cryogenic turbo-expander plant w/ mercury guard beds
- Turbine driven centrifugal residue compression
- Included 4 of the largest brazed aluminum heat exchanger cores available at that time.
