Natural Gas Processing Facility

Wyoming

Project Details

OPD provided engineering, design, procurement and construction of a cryogenic natural gas processing, liquids fractionation, and product terminal/storage facility in Wyoming. Lean gas with moderate CO2 content allowed this facility to be designed with Ortloff’s Carbon Dioxide Control (CDC) to be incorporated into the GSP/RSV cryogenic plant – avoiding costly inlet gas amine sweetening. The full project buildout also featured a completely modular 4-tower 1.5 MBPD NGL fractionator w/ rail & truck loading.

Additional Details

  • 420 MMSCFD CDC/RSV/GSP cryogenic turbo-expander plant w/ mercury guard beds
  • Turbine driven centrifugal residue compression
  • Included 4 of the largest brazed aluminum heat exchanger cores available at that time.

ALL-IN-ONE

CRYO, FRAC, STORAGE, AND LOADING

Project Highlight:

Strategic planning and execution, including modularization and applying the knowledge gained from multiple projects with the same project team contributed heavily to this project being completed 2 months ahead of schedule.
